About me

My name is Amanda

I have lived in Murfreesboro my entire life and I specialize in performance (dance and theatre), portrait, event, couples, pet, and branding photography! I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2019 with a BS in Theatre (which is how I know how to get amazing theatrical shots!). I am engaged to my fiance, Nathaniel, and I have 4 cats.

When I am not doing photography, I am involved in local community theatre productions (both onstage and behind the scenes!) and taking various dance and aerial arts classes. I have been dancing since I was a small child, which is how I have learned how to anticipate action shots when shooting dance productions and musicals. I also have a passion for SFX makeup, so if you have a vision for a creative shoot, just tell me about it and maybe I can also assist you in that area as well! Overall, I am just very passionate about various different creative arts, nature, and animals.

One thing that is very important to my work is making sure that each gallery that I shoot is unique and reflects the client. I shoot a mix of posed and candid, documentary style shots so that way you have variety to choose from. While I recognize that everyone wants the nice, perfectly posed photos to hang on their walls, I believe that it is also important to capture the subject's true personality as well!
